Molecule Partners with Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson

Leading Edge Sleep Company Uses Latest Sleep Cooling Technology to Help Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Recover Better.

CHICAGO (PRWEB)

Molecule, makers of a leading edge sleep system that is used by world’s best athletes, has formalized a multi-year partnership with Seattle Seahawks quarterback and Super Bowl Champion, Russell Wilson. Wilson, who sleeps on a Molecule mattress and sheets, will be an integral part of Molecule’s sales and marketing campaigns through the coming NFL seasons.

Russell Wilson led the Seattle Seahawks to their first ever Super Bowl victory in 2014 and then led them to a second straight Super Bowl berth in 2015. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Wilson set the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency and led the team to a Big Ten title and a berth in the 2012 Rose Bowl. Wilson was selected by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft and went on to be named the NFL Rookie of the Year. Wilson has won more games than any other NFL quarterback in his first six seasons and is currently the second highest rated NFL passer of all time.

“As an athlete, I am constantly looking for healthy ways to maximize my potential,” said Wilson. “Achieving better sleep may seem simple, but there is so much research and science on how to best achieve quality sleep for performance. This is where teaming with Molecule made the most sense for me. I appreciate how they combine science with sports performance and have a focus helping athletes recover better, so we can play better.”

Molecule’s first-of-its-kind mattress and sheets are designed to regulate core body temperature with proprietary Air-Engineered™ technology. The proprietary foam used in their mattresses delivers almost 3 times the airflow of the leading competition, resulting in better heat dissipation, and ultimately better quality sleep. Molecule sheets include a unique blend of TENCEL™ and cotton that allow for more than twice the air permeability of traditional cotton sheets.

“The team at Molecule is honored to partner with Russell, one of the premier players in football,” said Channing Chor, Executive Vice President of Business Development for Molecule. “Russell’s passion for health and wellness resonates in everything that he does, especially in finding ways to sleep better to improve performance. Today, athletes need every edge and advantage to play at their peak and we are committed to helping Russell attain this, alongside other players and fans who want to be their best at what they do, not just in athletic performance, but in day-to-day life.”

Using Air-Engineered technology and proprietary foam, Molecule differentiates themselves by helping sleepers achieve more non-REM or slow wave - sleep, the deepest stage of sleep, which enables the body to best restore its muscles, joints and bones. Each component of Molecule mattresses and sheets has been engineered to work synergistically to maximize comfort and heat dissipation for the best recovery-focused sleep.

“It’s no secret that restorative sleep is incredibly powerful and beneficial for the mind and body, especially as we spend over one-third of our total lives sleeping,” said Raymond Lyle, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer for Molecule. “From elite athletes like Russell to the everyday person trying to power through the day, everyone can benefit from achieving better sleep, and we’re proud to have developed products to maximize rest and recovery.”

Wilson will rely on Molecule sleep products as his exclusive rest and recovery partner. His season can be followed through his Instagram account and Twitter.
