Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time, with the most Olympic medals won by any athlete, 28 Olympic medals, 23 of them gold, spanning over four Olympic Games. In 2000 at age 15, Phelps competed with the U.S. Men’s swim team in his first Olympics in Sydney.
Michael devotes his time advocating for mental health, and upon returning home after competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he launched the Michael Phelps Foundation. Michael's wife, Nicole Phelps, philanthropist and former Miss California USA, draws on her celebrity and large following to bring awareness to the foundation, which promotes healthy and active lives for children.

Alex Morgan former member of the United States Women’s National Soccer team (USWNT) became the youngest member of the USWNT team in 2009 and was the first overall pick in the 2011 Women's Professional Soccer draft. At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, Morgan won her first Olympic gold medal by helping the U.S. women defeat Japan. Three years later, she was a leader on the team that again defeated Japan to win the FIFA Women's World Cup. In 2019, she was awarded the tournament's Silver Boot in helping the U.S. successfully defend their title with a 2–0 victory over the Netherlands in the final to secure her second FIFA Women's World Cup title.
